GSA Auctions - Completing The Auction
Payment Due
Payment for vehicles bought at GSA Fleet Auctions are due that day. Accepted forms of payment may include cash, credit card, cashier's check, credit union cashier's check, traveler's check, postal or commercial money order, and properly endorsed Federal, State, or local government checks. Personal or company checks will be accepted only if accompanied by a bank guarantee. Checks and forms of payment must be made payable to the auction facility. MasterCard, VISA, American Express, Discover, Bravo or Private Choice credit cards may be accepted, subject to verification and approval by the issuing bank. Not all credit cards are accepted at all locations (please check with the sponsoring auction house prior to the sale). It is recommended that you contact your credit card provider in advance of the sale to pre-authorize what might otherwise be an abnormally large purchase. As a security feature of many credit cards unusually large purchases, while legitimate and within available credit, may be rejected to prevent fraud. A pre-authorizing phone call to your credit card provider may prevent any delays in the processing of your payment.Taking Your Vehicle
You must take possession of any vehicle purchased from GSA Fleet at the conclusion of the auction. Each vehicle sold will be issued a Certificate to Obtain Title by the auction house (Standard Form 97), which will be accepted by your state's Department of Motor Vehicle for licensing and titling purposes.Fair Representation
All GSA Fleet vehicles are sold as per description only, and condition is not guaranteed (see Terms & Conditions for complete terms of our sales). However, GSA will retain any vehicle and refund the purchase fees before the buyer takes possession should it be determined that the vehicle has been inaccurately represented. If any misrepresentation is discovered after the vehicle has been released, the Government will refund the money paid if the buyer takes the vehicle, at his or her expense, to a location specified by GSA. Purchasers must submit written notice to GSA within 15 days that the vehicle has been erroneously described and has been maintained in the same condition as when it was received.
